He will be there to help you through the build process and you can be assured that the work is up to the current code. This is a large undertaking and you need to trust your builder on such a large project. Mike's great communication, project management and quality workmanship will ease any nerves and you are guaranteed to be impressed.
Renovations
Renovations in any room are just as important as a new house build. Whether for your own use or to prepare the house for sale Mike will help and guide you through this process. His practical problem solving skills are invaluable as often older homes can make it difficult to know what we require.
Inherited renovations of old are often not up to code so you need a qualified builder to ensure that your family can sleep safely and nothing hinders any future sale of your property
You will be stunned at the results you can achieve quickly and without too much cost, when this is done right the first time.
Custom one-off projects
Want something a bit different or special? Let Mike know what it is and he will work with you to realize your vision. Additions to the home need to be planned appropriately and again can add significant value to your property.
Mike will advise on the best process going forward and as with renovations you will be pleasantly surprised on how easily your home can be transformed
ABOUT
Clews Construction is a Mangawhai based building company run by Michael (Mike) Clews. He can help you with renovations, full house builds and basically any building requirement.
Mike has a Diploma in Construction, is a registered Certified Builder and Licensed Building Practitioner. He is also currently doing a Diploma in construction Management.
Mike has a wide range of skills and received many accolades during his studies such as Top Apprentice from Unitec and the Award of Excellence from the Apprenticeship Scholarship Trust. He has seen much success in his building career from Head Builder to foreman and this has led to his passion of running his own business.
As well as his love of woodworking, he is a keen fisherman and sometimes golfer. He enjoys a nice beer and is a typical quality Kiwi bloke
